Fluid Loss Control That Doesn’t Thicken Your Slurry: Meet GMFL-32

RITEKS OILFIELD SOLUTIONS

GMFL-32

Gas migration and fluid loss control, without the viscosity penalty.

UP TO 250°F (121°C)ALL API CEMENT GRINDSNON-VISCOSIFYING

Most fluid loss additives come with a trade-off: they thicken the slurry. Every bit of added viscosity makes a cement job harder to pump and harder to place, which is the opposite of what you want across a gas-prone zone.

Riteks GMFL-32 is a cost-effective, non-viscosifying gas migration and fluid loss control additive built to remove that trade-off. It reduces fluid loss and improves how the slurry transitions from liquid to solid, without increasing slurry viscosity. It's engineered for temperatures up to 250°F (121°C) and works across all API cement grinds, with consistent, repeatable performance.

Why non-viscosifying matters

Pumpability is a placement issue as much as a mixing one. A slurry that stays thin can be placed where the design calls for it, at the pressures the design allows.

  • Effective gas migration and fluid loss control
  • No increase in slurry viscosity
  • Preserves pumpability from mixing through placement

Built for the transition from liquid to solid

Gas migration risk is highest while cement is setting: the slurry is losing its ability to transmit hydrostatic pressure but hasn't built enough gel strength to block gas. GMFL-32 is designed to manage that window from both ends. It extends the Zero Gel Time for safer placement, then promotes a rapid static gel strength (SGS) transition, contributing to better zonal isolation and reduced gas migration risk.

Where GMFL-32 fits

GMFL-32 is ideal for primary cementing jobs in gas-prone formations, and anywhere early gel strength development and low fluid loss are critical. Its stable performance across cement types and temperature ranges suits a wide variety of well conditions, especially where maintaining pumpability matters.
