RCD-2

Riteks RCD-2 – Brown Dispersant is a highly effective dispersant that performs over a broad pH range, in acid or alkaline media, hard or soft waters, and in some degree of salinity. When used as a dispersant in cement slurries, Riteks RCD-2 – Brown Dispersant will improve the flow properties of the slurry, reduce hydraulic horsepower requirements, and will allow removal of the mixing water resulting in a more dense cement slurry. With the use of Riteks RCD-2 – Brown Dispersant, cement slurries can be tailored for specific well requirements providing optimum slurry characteristics for any down hole condition. Riteks RCD-2 – Brown Dispersant as a free-flowing powder, can be dry-blended with the cement before it is transported to the job site and can be easily dissolved in the mixing water. Because it is a synthetic product, Riteks RCD-2 – Brown Dispersant always exhibits uniform properties. It is non-foaming and does not contribute to corrosion or mold growth problems. Riteks RCD-2 – Brown Dispersant has a temperate stability of over 350°F (177°C). When used at the recommended dosage levels, it will not significantly affect the cement heat of hydration by imparting accelerating or retarding effects.
