GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Riteks RFL-70X – LT/MT Low Perm Fluid Loss is a cementing additive that controls flow and fluid loss properties at bottom-hole circulating temperatures up to 230°F. Typical loading levels of up to 1% is normally sufficient at temperatures between 75°F and 200°F to help reduce fluid loss to 50cc. At temperatures up to 350°F, this additive can also provide free-water control, chemical resistance, shear bonding properties, and thermal shock reduction.

APPLICATIONS & BENEFITSRiteks RFL-70X – LT/MT Low Perm Fluid Loss can be used with most cement additives, including retarders,
accelerators, extenders, and weighting materials. This additive can be
used in fresh water or seawater; however, it should not be used in
cements containing more than 10% sodium chloride (NaCl) by weight of
water. Some dispersant technologies are not recommended for this
product and can be incompatible. The preferred dispersant is Riteks
Riteks RCD-3 – Red Dispersant. Please see Riteks.com for more info.

- Provides a slight increase to cement viscosity and gel strength, which helps reduce free water, settling, and sedimentation
- Helps prevent fluid loss and gas migration in most API and lightweight commercial cements
- Little to no effect exhibited on low temperature cement retardation
- Improved bonding can be achieved with loadings as low as 0.2% BWOC
- Provides improvements to cement with enhancing durability, as well as improves bond strength and shear bond strength for the life of the well
- Consequently, shear bonds have an increased resistance to thermal cycling
- Improvement to cement flexural strength
- Cement slurries containing Riteks RFL-70X – LT/MT Low Perm Fluid Loss are more resistant to acids and brines
