GENERAL DESCRIPTION

 RiTrol-HTFLis a natural asphaltite; partially dispersible in water and soluble in oil. It is used as a shale stabilizer and inhibitor in drilling fluids

  • High Pressure/High Temperature (HP/HT) filtration control in invert emulsion drilling fluids
  • Minimal effect on the rheological properties of fluids up to 18 ppg (2.16 sg)
  • Used in scenarios to Improve filter cake quality
  • Excellent in conventional or unconventional oil and gas wells

Recommended Dosage: Add 6 to 10 kg/m³ (2 to 3.5 lb/bbl) of RiTrol-HTFL.

RiTrol-HTFL was developed to:

  • Stabilize and inhibit shales.

  • Reduce torque and drag on the drill string during drilling.

  • Provide wellbore stability.
