Riteks Saber-LCM is an advanced lost circulation material designed with multiple mechanisms to effectively mitigate and prevent downhole fluid losses. It is composed of amorphous materials that create resilient plugs, capable of withstanding high-pressure differentials across fractures. These complex organic components adapt to fracture profiles, facilitating effective bridging, while the optimized particulate distribution interlocks to reinforce the bridges and plugpore throats. Riteks Saber-LCM - Single Component PSD LCM contains components that have demonstrated cement retardation properties; therefore, its application is best suited for use in drilling mud and spacer systems.

APPLICATIONS & BENEFITSRiteks Saber-LCM is designed for use in mud and spacer systems at temperatures up to 400°F, with recommended loadings of 5-10 lb/bbl for loss prevention, 10-20 lb/bbl for partial losses, and 20-40 lb/bbl for severe to total losses. These dosage guidelines ensure effective sealing and wellbore stability across various loss scenarios. To ensure safe passage through wellbore restrictions, Riteks Saber-LCM - Single Component PSD LCM concentrations should be adjusted accordingly. The carrying fluid must maintain a rheological profile that supports dynamic and static suspension, considering interactions with surrounding fluids and thermal changes to prevent settling and flow disruptions. Loss control can be further improved by combining Riteks Saber-LCM - Single Component PSD LCM with advanced sealing spacers. Pairing it with membrane sealing spacers like MS Spacer or RiSeal Spacer MaxGuard-X enhances wellbore integrity, while using it with low ECD spacers such as RiSeal Spacer StreamLine-1 helps control losses without exceeding pressure limits.
