GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Riteks THIX-C2 is a thixotropic additive engineered to optimize primary cementing operations by controlling free water, enhancing early strength development, preventing cement fallback, and managing fluid migration. With its low dosage requirements, Riteks THIX-C2 significantly improves fluid properties and strength in water extended slurries. It is also ideal for tailored cement formulations where rapid setting is essential, such as in squeeze jobs, plug placements, water shutoffs, and surface casing leads.

Riteks THIX-C2 – Alternative to SMS, Thixotropic, Suspender is a moderately strong accelerator for cement and mayrequire the use of retarders at circulating temperatures over 100°F.The use of dispersants may reduce the thixotropy of the cement andshould be avoided.
