Riteks RCR-150 – Low Temperature Retarder

Introducing a new low temperature Ligno sulfonate retarder for oilfield cementing, RCR-150.   This tried-and-true retarder offers exceptional control over the setting time of all grades of oilfield, and some construction grade cements, at low temperatures (< 220°F).  With its industry standard formulation, it effectively delays the hydration process, ensuring safe and optimal cement placement.  We invite you to discover why this formulation has gained so much popularity in our industry and see for yourself its exceptional benefits.

Riteks RSP-4D – Dry Surfactant Package

Riteks RSP-4D is a powdered surfactant for use in cement spacers, chemical washes, and drilling fluids. This product provides water wetting tendencies to enhance the cleanout of oil substrates through an ultra-low interfacial tension, helps leave the pipe and formation in a water-wet condition, and is applicable over a wide temperature range. We developed RSP-4D to improve the efficiencies in dosing and to allow a true ‘on-the-fly’ spacer or chemical wash system, in combination with Riteks MS Spacer. Riteks RSP-4D surfactant acts as a degreaser, provides water wetting properties, promotes cement bonding, and helps to assure rheological compatibility in between oil-based (OBM) or synthetic-based (SBM) muds and the spacer. Riteks RFL-9 – Dispersing Fluid Loss Additive

Riteks RFL-9 is a dispersing and retarding fluid loss additive for all API classes of cement. Riteks RFL-9 is an effective fluid loss additive in primary, remedial, and squeeze cementing, and can be used in bottom hole circulating temperatures (BHCT’s) between 60° and 300°F (15.5°and 149°C). Features and Benefits

Riteks RFL-70X – Powdered Latex Fluid Loss Additive

RFL-70X is a cementing additive that controls flow and fluid loss properties at bottom-hole circulating temperatures up to 210°F (99°C). Typical loading levels of up to 1 percent is normally sufficient at temperatures between 75°F and 200°F (24°C to 93°C) to help reduce fluid loss to 50cc. At temperatures up to 350°F (177°C), this additive can also provide free water control, chemical resistance, shear bonding properties, and thermal shock reduction. Features and Benefits

Riteks THIX-C2 – Thixotropic Additive

Additive for Oilfield Cementing Applications

Riteks THIX-C2 is a high-performance thixotropic additive designed to optimize primary cementing operations in oilfield drilling. Specifically engineered to control free water, promote early strength development, prevent cement fallback, and mitigate fluid migration, THIX-C2 is the ideal choice for achieving superior wellbore integrity.

This advanced additive is highly effective at low loading levels, enhancing fluid properties and compressive strengths in water-extended cement slurries. Riteks THIX-C2 is particularly valuable in demanding applications where rapid setting is critical, such as squeeze jobs, plug placements, and water shutoff operations.

By improving gelation and transition times, Riteks THIX-C2 supports more reliable zonal isolation while reducing operational costs and rig time, making it a key component in efficient, fit-for-purpose cementing designs.

Key Features and Benefits of Riteks THIX-C2

Why Choose Riteks THIX-C2 for Oilfield Cementing?

In oil and gas well construction, preventing cement fallback, managing fluid migration, and achieving rapid compressive strength development are crucial for operational success. Riteks THIX-C2 is purpose-built for the unique demands of primary cementing and remedial cementing operations, offering reliable performance across a wide range of well conditions.

Whether you are designing a lightweight slurry, a squeeze job for sealing off water influx, or a critical plug setting application, Riteks THIX-C2 enhances cement system performance, helping ensure a strong, dependable cement sheath from the outset.

Riteks RFL-4 – Viscosifying Fluid Loss Additive

Riteks RFL-4 is a fluid loss additive that consistently  improves viscosity, water retention, and suspension. Lead Cements under 13 ppg commonly use Riteks RFL-4 which helps maintain rheological hierarchy in thin lightweight cement slurries. Riteks RFL-4 is ideal for circulating long columns of cement slurry on primary casing jobs and for deep liner cementing. It helps fluidity maintenance, premature dehydration elimination, and annular bridging prevention. Most additives used in cementing are compatible with Riteks RFL-4 and provides good frictional properties during displacement.

Microfume 106 UM – Undensified Silica Fume

Microfume 106 UM is an undensified silica fume that improves the mechanical properties (compressive strength) and durability (via permeability decrease). Microfume 106 UM can be an extender for lightweight cements and a compressive strength enhancer for low-temperature, lightweight cements. Lower water content and improved flowability with a higher PAI (Pozzolonic Activity Index) for improved compressive strength development in light weight slurries is a key feature of Microfume 106.

Microfume 104 OG – Semi-Densified Silica Fume

Microfume 104 OG is a semi-densified, constant pH, amorphous light grey powder that improves compressive strengths and durability (via permeability decrease). It “flows” better than its fully densified counterparts and has a high Pozzolanic Activity Index (PAI). MicroFume 104 OG is an extender for lightweight cements and used in conjunction with or instead of conventional pozz.

Riteks CSE-5 – High PAI Strength Enhancer

Riteks CSE-5 offers a higher Pozzolonic Activity Index (PAI) for improved compressive strength development for light weight slurries. Riteks CSE-5 reacts with free lime produced during hydration of cement and produces additional cementitious material for improved compressive development. Riteks CSE-5 also provides benefits such as extender properties & free water control, all at much reduced loadings than other pozzolans.

Glass Beads – Hollow Glass Beads

Riteks Glass Beads are hollow microspheres for oil & gas cement applications with moderate pressure and shear. These beads allow formulators to reduce slurry densities and maintain good workability & higher compressive strengths, while favorably impacting total costs.
