APPLICATIONS & BENEFITS
Surface must be clean, dry, sound, and free of dirt, dust, grease, oils, residues, waxes, water, foreign particles, and any other contaminants that may interfere with coating adhesion and intimate contact with the substrate. For maximum protection, prepare the substrate by abrasive blasting to a profile of 2.0-4.0 mils per NACE SSPC-SP10. Metal surface must be 5 degrees above the dew point temperature. RiteZinc RZ 2k Series can be applied with airless spray @ 2500-3500 psi and 0.017-0.025 tips, HVLP, or Conventional. Brush and Roll can also be used for application.

Mixing & Thinning Instructions
RiteZinc RZ 2k Series is a two component material and requires a hardener. Agitate each component thoroughly by shaker or mixer before combining. Mix 4 parts by volume RiteZinc RZ 2k Series with one part RZ100B hardener. Shake for 10 minutes after combining. If material will not be used within 10 minutes, re-agitate or use continuous mixing during application to ensure a uniform consistency of zinc in the film. No reduction is necessary. If reducing or thinning is required, please contact your Riteks technical service representative for instructions.
