Mixing: For best results, the air entrainment should be dispensed separately into the mix with the initial batch water or on damp, fine aggregate.
Dosage: The amount to be used will vary with local materials and intended concrete performance requirements, typically in the range of 4% to 6%. Typical addition rates range from 0.5 to 2 fl. oz. per 100 lbs. of cementitious material. Due to variations in concrete materials, job site conditions, and applications, dosages outside of the recommended range may be required.
