GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Riteks EvoTek™ 40X is a faster setting high-range water-reducing (HRWR) admixture for concrete utilizing polycarboxylate technology. It is designed to facilitate the placing and finishing of pre-stressed and precast concrete that is highly flowable and workable with faster setting characteristics and higher early-age strengths. EvoTek™ 40X is ideally suited for use in self consolidating concrete mixes. EvoTek™ 40X reduces water content (12-40%) needed for a given workability.

APPLICATIONS & BENEFITSDosage: Rates will vary depending on the materials used, ambient conditions and the requirements of a specific project. For best results, each admixture must be introduced separately into the concrete mix. EvoTek™ 40X does not contain calcium chloride or any chloride-based components and is non-corrosive to reinforced, galvanized floor/roof systems or prestressing steel. Do not use with admixtures containing betanaphthalene sulfonate.

Improves quality of concrete by decreasing water-cementitious ratio while maintaining slump life during extended mixing times. Increases compressive and flexural strengths. Reduces cracking, creep, shrinkage, surface bleeding, and segregation. Improves finishability, workability, pumpability, and bond strength to the steel. Faster set times — works well with slower setting cements. Faster early-age, tensioning, and stripping strengths. Increased productivity.

APPLICATIONS & BENEFITS
Dosage Rate: 2 to 12 fluid ounces per 100 pounds of cementitious material. Due to variations in concrete materials, job site conditions and applications, dosages outside of the recommended range may be required.In such cases, contact your local Riteks Construction Chemical Representative.

EvoTek™ 40X is compatible with all types Portland cement, class C& F fly ash, silica fume, fibers, approved air entraining & water reducing admixtures. EvoTek™ 40X can be used in white, colored and blended cements.
