GENERAL DESCRIPTION

FloTek™ 443 is a high molecular weight, high-range water-reducing admixture engineered to deliver high slump concrete at lower water-to-cementitious ratios. This advanced formulation increases flowability while maintaining both early and ultimate compressive and flexural strengths. Designed with extended slump retention, FloTek 443 can be dosed at the batch plant or job site across the full dosage range without affecting normal set times. When added to low slump concrete, FloTek 443 produces high slump mixes that ensure excellent consolidation around reinforcing steel with minimal or no vibration required.

FloTek™ 443 is recommended at a dosage rate of 10 to 26 ounces per 100 pounds (652 mL to 1695 mL per 100 kg) of cementitious material. Because local job conditions may vary, dosage requirements should be confirmed through trial mixes. For additional guidance, contact your Riteks technical service representative.

Compatability

FloTek™ 443 is recommended for concrete applications requiring higher flowability and enhanced early and ultimate strengths. It allows contractors and superintendents to place concrete with improved workability and strength while lowering placement labor costs. FloTek 443 is fully compatible with all types of Portland cement, Class C and F fly ash, silica fume, calcium chloride, fibers, and approved admixtures including air-entraining, accelerating, retarding, and water-reducing agents. It can be used effectively in white, colored, and architectural concrete. For best results, each admixture should be dispensed separately into the concrete mix.
