GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Riteks SYAD™30 is a set retarding water reducing multi-component admixture for concrete. It is designed to facilitate the placing and finishing of concrete while providing control over the set time. SYAD 30 improves pumpability of concrete and is especially beneficial during hot weather concreting operations when control of setting time and maintenance of placeable consistency are essential. SYAD 30 provides superior finishability on all flatwork and pre-cast surfaces

Dosage: Rates will vary depending on the materials used, ambient conditions and the requirements of a specific project. For best results, add SYAD 30 to the water and aggregate mix at between 0.75 - 7 fl. oz of 100 lbs. of cementitious materials. Due to variations in concrete materials, job site conditions and applications, dosages outside of the recommended range may be required. In such cases, contact your local Riteks Construction Chemical Representative. Note: SYAD 30 does not contain calcium chloride or any chloride-based components and is noncorrosiv

SYAD 30 provides variable control of setting time based on dosage rate andimproves quality of concrete by decreasing water-cement ratio while maintaining slump life during extended mixing times. SYAD 30 increases compressive and flexural strengths. SYAD 30 reduces cracking, shrinkage,surface bleeding and segregation. SYAD 30 resists damage caused byfreezing and thawing and aids in preventing cold joints and reduces thermalcracking in mass pour concrete.
