GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Riteks SYAD™ 75 is a retarding admixture recommended for all concrete where extended setting characteristics, particularly in hot weather are desired. SYAD 75 delays time of set to accommodate long haul times, or facilitate placement and finishing during hot weather concreting.

SYAD 75 was designed to be used where an economical and effective retarding is required to offset the accelerating effects of high ambient temperature concreting. SYAD 75 will delay initial set times allowing proper placement and finishing without cold joints in hot weather conditions.

APPLICATIONS & BENEFITS
Mixing: SYAD 75 should not come into contact with dry cement or other admixtures until mixed. Dosage: Rates will vary depending on the materials used, ambient conditions and the requirements of a specific project. For best results, add SYAD 75 to the water and aggregate mix at between 0.5-3 fl. oz of 100 lbs. of cementitious materials. Due to variations in concrete materials, job site conditions and applications, dosages outside of the recommended range may be required. In such cases, contact your local Riteks Construction Chemical Representative. Note: SYAD 75 does not contain calcium chloride or any chloride-based components and is noncorrosive to reinforced, galvanized floor/roof systems or prestressing steel.
