Q-CEL ONG52/ONG52B

Two grades of Q-CEL ONG® Hollow Glass Beads are available as lightweight additives to help maintain density of cement systems or drilling fluids. These single-cell microspheres are white and free-flowing. With significantly lower specific gravity than competitive materials, the formulator has more leeway to reach the lower densities needed. The lower densities of ONG® Series Products favorably impact total costs as well. ONG® 52 are hydrophilic and have no coating, and ONG® 52B are coated and intended for use in higher temperature and pressure applications. It is recommended that actual hollow sphere attrition be determined by lab testing at downhole conditions.
